Peter Daniels - a guest at Victory Church

Peter Daniels:  "Wealth is not something material, wealth is an idea"

June 29th Christian Victory church in Kiev had a rare guest.  Peter Daniels, a businessman, a multimillionaire, a Christian for many years, preached at the two services and also held a business seminar.

Peter Daniels is a founder of one of the biggest real estate companies in Australia, even though, from the businessman's own words, in the early part of his life he was illiterate and uneducated man.  "My school teacher always told me that nothing good would come out of me" – with a smile recounts Daniels and adding that one of his books is actually called: "Miss Phillips, You were wrong".  At the age of 26 Peter Daniels came to God and his life begun to change.  He purchased three economy dictionaries and placed one at his bed, one in the bathroom and the last one in his car.  Daniels believes that these three places are perfect for solitude and good reading.  During this period the future multimillionaire begun to dream of two things: "How to give out the most money in a lifetime" and "Change the world 300 years ahead".  After completing studies of the three dictionaries, Peters started studying 2000 biographies of world known people; he also studied such subjects as theology, history, law, contemporary history of the world, etc.

Daniels believes that the brain is a muscle that can be developed and exercised.  The fact that his business went through a bankruptcy three times, he blames on his own foolishness.  "In order to become intelligent you have to invest finances in educating yourself" – states Peter Daniels.

In his sermon "What mountain do you want to conquer?" Daniels called Christians not to conform to this world, but to set real goals in their lives and achieve them. "I'm tired of Christians who are losers.  Many think that Jesus was poor.  Theologians studied the point in the Bible where the three wise men brought gifts to Jesus.  As it turns out, the gold and the rest of the gifts, if converted to current currency, are worth close to 400 million dollars.   "And this is an undeniable fact, - stated Peter Daniel while adding:  Jesus was not poor".

But in order to achieve goals, we need to be winners, assured the listeners businessman.  "A crowd is always wrong because it's the minority that's always right, not the majority, - affirmatively stated Peter Daniels and urged the listeners: We must go and overcome no matter what".

At the business seminar Peter Daniels shared with the attendees how to operate in the difficult conditions of today's market economy, how to properly manage available financial capital, what is needed for a Christian to become active businessman, and what is the overall reason for running a business.  Peter Daniels also mentioned four rules that are necessary for anyone seeking success.  The first rule is to tell yourself the truth, even if it's bitter. The second rule is to learn to love people.  Daniels believes that in order to fulfill this rule we have to first accept ourselves, only then we can learn to love others.  Third rule is to create passion, other words to be a catalyst for this world.  For this the Christians must have the ability to accept and absorb the intellectual information, have the power to dream, have the power to achieve a result and lastly have the power of discipline.  The fourth and the last rule is dedication, or more precisely an ability to invest time and money into our dreams.

Concluding the seminar, Daniels brought up ten reasons for running a business, after what listeners could ask questions and receive well qualified answers.  Peter Daniels will hold two more business seminars teaching on business planning, leadership principles, success factors, reaching life goals, staying motivated, and handling a fading dream.   The businessman will also share his technique of reading books.

All attendees will have an opportunity to purchase Peter Daniels' books: "How to be Happy Though Rich", "How to Reach Your Life Goals", "How to be Motivated all the Time", "How to overcome big business", "How to have the Awesome Power of Public Speaking", "Miss Phillips You Were Wrong", "Autobiography" and others.
