The founder and Senior Pastor of Victory church, Henry Madava, originally came to Kiev from Zimbabwe to study aeronautics. About a year before the completion of his studies, the Lord started speaking to him about the need to start a strong church, which would be accessible for all people. After a whole year of struggle with the calling, and despite many negative circumstances, he finally agreed and in December of 1992 Henry, with the help of 5 people, started the Victory Church. 

Henry Madava is married, has two sons and one daughter. His ministry is characterized by wholesome teaching of God’s Word, powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit, healing of the sick, and casting out of demons. Coherent and precise explanation of God’s Word makes his teaching accessible to everybody.

Pastor Henry is a preacher well known throughout the world and is a frequent participant of many conferences. He has preached the Word of God in more than 30 countries. The desire of Pastor Henry to move with the Holy Spirit helps him convey to people the Good News about salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, about God’s love to every man, about forgiveness of sins, healing and deliverance.

Henry Madava is an author of many books. He actively participates in seminars and many bible schools, many of his articles are regularly published in different Christian and social publications.

At the Jesus Festivals, which are evangelistic healing crusades, conducted by Henry in the cities of Ukraine and beyond its borders including Poland, Pakistan, Ethiopia thousands of people repent and hundreds are healed and touched by God.

The desire of Pastor and the whole Victory Church is to reach with the Gospel every person living in Kiev, in all of the Ukraine, Europe, Middle East, and other countries. This is the reason why so much attention and resources are being put into growth and education of new leaders, future pastors. Pastor Henry has rich spiritual experience and a heart of a father to support and provide guidance for other ministers.

The desire and the longing of Pastor Henry is to encourage people, help them think on a bigger scale and to inspire them, so that everyone would reach their maximum in God’s calling.

Being one of the leading Christian leaders of Ukraine, Henry Madava desires to see Revival, which would engulf all of the Ukraine and the entire world. He wants to see the power of the Holy Spirit touching millions of lost souls and those who desire to know and live in the presence of God.
